January Guest Designer

We are almost ready now to release the first part of our January Guest Designer collection. Above you can see that - once again, we were very lucky :) - a really talented person decided to work with us. Her collection is just incredibly CUTE! There will be samples, freebies and special discounts around, until the end of January, here, there… you know, in the Newsletter, on the designer’s blog… so you can get the different parts of this collection and save your money!

And now it is possible to purchase the complete collection of our December Guest Designer (and save $5)


I am not sure that I will manage to invite a different designer each month of the year or if I will manage to organize this each month of the year, so I have planned other things, for when there is no Guest Designer. One thing I know, is that I would love to be my own Guest Designer somehow lol… or I should call this differently or… maybe if I invite myself politely I will accept? :)

Festive Layouts

I’ve received many festive layouts from all parts of the planet, that is really fun and I enjoy it a lot!! And it looks like it’s just a beginning!! Today I wanted to show you a few layouts from the team, below there’s a LO by Karooch using Lynn’s Christmas Cheer collection, and below below (lol not sure that’s correct) that is the cutest dog’s coat I’ve ever seen!!! (LO by Brittney) did I mention I’d like to have a dog myself? or a third cat… that is a really really bad idea I know but maybe just maybe, if I move to a bigger place in 2008… I can start my own Noah’s ark… (because I’d like a bird or two as well… :)

No new products this week, not nice, I know, but until December, 31, many of our kits are specials and you can save up to 30%.

Today our Christmas Around The World freebie will be retired from the store, thank you for your comments and messages about it, it’s been a huge success and we are glad you’ve enjoyed it so much. I think some of our team members will offer their parts on their blogs for a few more days or weeks but for now I’m not sure who and for how long.

I’m back!

I’m back from my little family reunion! After a 6 hours train journey - with 3 hours delay because of people stealing/burning stuff on the railway network somewhere in the South, here is an article for the French ladies who are still reading me :) wow the whole system was such a mess just on the day I was travelling :) it was a fun trip though (once we managed to get on the train) we all had music players with my neighbours and played a game called blind tests or musical quiz or whatever and the journey went really fast! I found my cats starving yesterday night although I did plan for 3 days of food but I guess William just ate everything on the first day I wouldn’t be surprised… I hope everyone had a nice Christmas, it was fun here but we’re all glad it’s over: too much food and too much drink. Got my grand parents to scrapbook a bit, they now know how to download and open zips and the difference between PNGs and JPGs :) they even started to use a software I showed them that I found really great for beginners, called ACDSee Photo editor Got my new coffee machine yessss! and my mom bought me a great external harddrive that I am supposed to use for work but as you can plug this to the TV I guess I’ll also use it as a movie player :) Now I have a loooot of work, for DigitalArts-cafe and some other stuff to do as well and some friends are coming tonight for a few days, and the appartment needs a good clean, and I don’t know where to staaaaart!! Hopefully I can at least answer my e-mails today and get the newsletter ready for tomorrow with a freebie. Thank you so very much for the layouts, the cards and everything I found in my mail box today, I’ll do my best to answer quick, thank you for your patience and thank you for your suggestions, I do write everything I am suggested, we are still working hard to improve the store in each and every aspect and besides all our books and evening lessons, our very observant customers are definitely the greatest help. For now our emergencies are the website (horrible) look with Internet Explorer (it works fine in Firefox though) that “looping” problem at log-in for some of you, the Newsletter (horrible) look in some email clients and the Welcome e-mail when you open a new account, see I’ve written everything, it’s just that… well, I didn’t get my new brain for Christmas so I’ll just have to go on with this one and it’s still a bit slow :)
